The bfa Annual Conference 2011 took place on the 16th and 17th June at the Heritage Motor Centre in Warwickshire, proving to be a huge success, with over 160 business leaders in franchising attending.
Sponsored by Printing.com and supported by Mercedes Benz InterCounty Truck and Van, proceedings over the
two days ranged from an informative social media presentation focusing on the use of Twitter to an outstandingly entertaining and informative look at the threats to a business of a cyber attack. Delegates chose from a series of elective seminars, including ‘Advanced Franchising: Franchisee resales vs renewal’; ‘Affiliate Focus: Legal updates in franchising’; ‘Core Business: Engaging
with the media’; ‘Advanced Franchising: Profiling successful franchisees’ and‘Franchising Essentials: Franchisee recruitment’.

There were a series of bfa updates, including a progress update on One Vision as well as news on national and international lobbying.
