bfa Conference Seminar Programme

Each year, the bfa conference provides delegates with the opportunity to tailor their own agenda through a series of breakout seminar workshops.

Taking place at intervals over the two days of the conference, seminars not only focus on topics of relevance to the franchising industry but also those issues that affect all businesses. This year’s programme will cover the following main areas:

Franchising Essentials
These fundamental aspects of franchising are the subjects we all need to know and know well to help us succeed. Seminars are designed with this in mind, providing expert advice on key franchising topics.

Advanced Franchising
These seminars cover topics for those who need to fine tune their skills, share best practice and look at the complex subjects in franchising.

Legal and Ethics
These seminars take the focus of the legal aspects of franchising as well as the ethics upon which the bfa's standards are based and are aimed at both franchisor and affiliate members.

Sales and Marketing
Topics relevant to sales and marketing have remained consistently popular so for 2012, we have developed a new seminar track which will specifically focus on subjects relevant to all businesses.

Bairstow Eves Franchising - Franchisee case study

We chose to invest in a franchise as it provided us with the opportunity to trade under a national and respected brand name. We were also able to take advantage of their provision of tried and tested operating procedures, computer software and training facilities and to benefit from having legal advice readily available.
