Events cancellation policy


The following applies to any Event, Seminar or Forum organised or run by the British Franchise Association.

  • Full refunds will be granted for bookings cancelled at least ten working days in advance of the event. 
  • No refunds are permitted for cancellations less than ten working days in advance or for ‘no-shows’. 
  • All requests for refunds must be made in writing to the bfa at: British Franchise Association, Centurion Court, 85f Milton Park, Abingdon, OX14 4RY

Prospective Franchisor/Franchisee Seminar

Please note that the bfa requires a minimum number of attendees to ensure that the seminar takes place. Therefore the bfa reserves the right to cancel the Prospective Franchisor/Franchisee seminars up to 3 working days before the event. Due to this, we ask that you do not finalise any arrangements for travelling to attend or travelling back from the location of this event. If you do, please ensure any tickets are refundable.

If the seminars are cancelled, you will be notified via email/phone and then be offered to transfer your booking to another seminar at a later date. The transfer of your booking may not be in the same location as your initial booking and is also subject to the same conditions noted above.
