Your Business, Your Annual Conference
The bfa's Annual Conference, being held on the 2nd and 3rd June at the East Midland's Conference Centre in Nottingham, will be designed with you in mind.
The conference always provides a programme of specialist one hour seminars outside of the main conference theatre, covering numerous franchising topics. For 2010 this programme of seminars is being designed with a focus on different needs in franchising therefore giving you a programme designed for your needs. There will be four specialist tracks:
Franchising Essentials: A good franchise business is based on some solid core knowledge, skills and structures. These essential aspects of franchising are the subjects that we all need to know and know well to help us succeed. So this selection of seminars is designed very much for this purpose; providing expert advice on the subjects you really need to know.
Advanced Franchising: When you have already set up your franchise you look to fine tune, develop and expand your existing systems. You also find yourself encountering new hurdles. As your business grows, areas come up for sale or you plan for your next steps, you need new levels of knowledge. These seminars look at those subjects for people who now need to fine tune their skills, share best practice and look at the complex subjects in franchising.
Affiliate Focus: The bfa's Affiliate Members are essential to help provide the industry with the best advice and services. However, as an Affiliate Member you need to make sure you have the most up to date information and understanding. These seminars will help Affiliate Members to get the maximum benefit from their membership and the industry as a whole; and at the same time gain better understanding of the needs of their clients.
Core Business: It is no surprise that the majority of the bfa's work is franchising focused. In fact, you probably wouldn't expect anything less. However, we are also all businesses with general business opportunities and threats. These seminars look at some of the more general business subjects that can affect us all.
