The winners of the 2006 Franchisor of the Year Awards were recently announced at the annual Awards ceremony on Thursday 18th May, at the Savoy Hotel in London.

This celebrated luncheon, sponsored by Express Newspapers and HSBC Bank, saw Driver Hire crowned this year`s Franchisor of the Year. Chief Executive, Chris Chidley, was presented with the winner`s trophy by BFA President Sir Bernard Ingham.

There were also two additional accolades where SUMO was named `Brand Builder of the Year` and the ‘Enterprise Award` went to VIP Bin Cleaning.

The theme for this year`s awards was “Planning for Success” and the 2006 winners all displayed exceptional ability in this area. The afterparty, hosted by Express Newspapers on the Queen Mary, was an opportunity for the winners to celebrate their outstanding achievement.
