All CNA owners specialise in an industry or sector and Bob offers recruitment solutions to the chemical industry: "the chemical industry is global and speaks English, so we have always looked beyond the UK for business. Our first placements were in Germany and Saudi Arabia, and we have bid for business all over Europe, as well as in Malaysia."

At a time when many recruitment companies are downsizing, CNA is thriving and Bob"s office is no exception, winning last year"s coveted trophy for best performance.

Bob attributes CNA"s sustained success to its ability to provide a total resource solution to their clients: "Our 60 plus executive search consultants, 900 interim managers and over 90 management consultants all work together to develop new business for each other. This makes us more recession-resistant.

"We are celebrating our seven year anniversary by expanding the chemical team, taking on two more consultants by the end of the year. New consultants will be encouraged to take the CNA system into countries we haven"t yet explored. The feedback we get from clients and candidates globally encourages me to believe we offer a better and more professional service than any of our rivals.
