Case Study - Paul Turner

Paul TurnerMy name’s Paul Turner and I own Diamond in Basildon.

I come from a background of owning a courier franchise in Ilford so I know this market inside and out. When I sold my business I was looking for a new challenge and honestly, when we saw what Diamond had created couldn’t quite believe it. It is simply the best of both worlds. A really great supportive team, an amazing product with substantial room for great margins to be made and then there’s the prospects of the national accounts down the line.

They have turned the business model on its head – and it’s genius. They have removed all the hard bits of this kind of franchise – and left just the profitable, high value activities. It’s completely client-centric so we can offer our clients exactly what they need and it’s all about the people – our relationships with our clients – and how we can help them make their businesses grow.

We have invested heavily, purchasing numerous postcodes because our experience in the market enables us to see just what an opportunity this is for us. We’ve started with a 4,500 sq. ft. depot and a team of five so we look forward to being the fastest growing franchise to date!
