Rainbow International is owned and operated in the UK by ISS Facility Services. Since establishing our franchise in Britain in 1987, we’ve grown exponentially; currently, we have 73 franchisees who bear our name, and a single managed operation.

We have territories nationwide, but invest in building local links with our franchisees. As well as the support provided by Rainbow International, our partners thrive on the strength of our peer support network.

Training

Many of our franchisees come to us from a completely different sector, having never managed specialist cleaning and restoration before. We’ll grant all the insight you’ll need. Rainbow International offers a three-week induction programme to get you up to speed on our practices, philosophy, and the projected challenges for your new career.

It’s a mixture of classroom, online and demonstrative training, all cemented by contact with our top franchisees. As soon as you graduate, you’ll have the aid of our Regional Sales & Support Team to call on, in addition to a 100-day programme designed to help you hit the ground running.

Daily Life of a Franchisee

A Rainbow International franchisee is at the front line of fire and flood restoration and specialist cleaning services. However, as a franchisee, your role will focus on strengthening our management model, ready to grow the brand and build a team of experts who can deliver quality results on every contract.

Although some of our work does come from centrally sourced avenues (i.e. insurance companies), the ability and drive to secure self-generated cleaning work is essential. We’re not talking about regular office cleans; more like advanced, high-value contracts that will boost your earning potential.

In essence, there’ll be central accounts work to get you started, but the rest is down to you. Now and then, of course, you can muck in with the team on ground-level, providing a morale boost and staying up-to-date with how they perform onsite.
