Case Study - Gavin and Debbie Stirrup

Gavin and Debbie Stirrup are no strangers to running their own business. They have previously run their own project management business that installed power stations for mobile phone masts and then went on to operate a franchise that processed insurance claims. In 2009 Gavin and Debbie joined the team of Christmas Decorators to run their own Manchester operation. The first thing that appealed to them was the opportunity to earn a great income from just a few months as well as the fact that they could start it from home with little to no overheads.

Their first customers were Wayne and Coleen Rooney and Jason Manford who remain customers to this day. Gavin's smart marketing saw him present to the Manchester Hoteliers Association in 2010 which elevated his turnover to figures way beyond what is typically expected in a second year of operating. This also attracted many prestigious clients such as The Hilton Manchester and The Midland Hotel and their business is now quite renowned in the Manchester hospitality industry.

Gavin and Debbie produce stunning displays for their clients with Gavin leading all the outdoor projects while Debbie concentrates on beautiful interiors. Its Gavin's plan for 2011 to develop the business while allowing one of his key workers to take the lead role in delivering to their customers.

The Manchester office took full advantage of having their own website which was fully optimised to Google and certainly delivered. Gavin claims that had he been prepared in enough time, he could have delivered twice as much work as he did in 2010. Gavin even claimed in one conversation that he was looking to turn off his web site due to the overwhelming demand.
