BFA FRANCHISOR MEMBERS

Most of our members have new franchises for sale, although of course there may well be limitations as to the geographic area available. To find the franchise you are looking for you can use the search box above, or browse by membreship category using the links below.

Members are listed under the following membership categories:

FULL MEMBERS  QUICK LIST   FULL LIST  Established franchisors with a proven trading and franchising record. All members of the bfa, Full and Associate, must meet four key criteria: viability, franchisable, ethical and disclosure. Please see the section Membership Criteria for details of these criteria and classifications. With these checks in place, franchisors can be admitted to membership, providing also that they commit themselves to abide by the Advertising Standards Authority’s code of practice and also to the association’s own complaints and disciplinary, appeals and re-accreditation rules. Full members will have a proven trading and franchising record. The length of time a franchised business has been in operation, and the changes in business and financial circumstances it must have survived before it can be said to be “established”, will vary from sector to sector.

ASSOCIATE MEMBERS  QUICK LIST   FULL LIST  The requirements for Associate Membership are as for Full Membership, except that the criteria relating to the length of time the franchise has been operating, the size of the network and the range of experiences, are less demanding. Associate Members are franchisors working their way towards Full Membership.

PROVISIONAL LISTING COMPANIES  QUICK LIST   FULL LIST  Companies new to franchising can join a Provisional List, providing they can demonstrate they are taking all reasonable measures to ensure that their business is properly developed and tested for the franchise method.
