Franchise industry gains new website 25/09/2011 11:24

The British Franchise Association (bfa) has today announced the launch of its new website – a completely newly designed resource for the franchising industry. The bfa has long been one of the top online resources for existing and prospective franchising individuals. However, with nearly 1,000 pages of information it was clear that a whole new approach was needed to deliver this information effectively with the ever developing requirements of the online crowds.

Tom Endean, Marketing Manager of the bfa said: “Backed up by a new database, accounting systems and online payment software, the new website has been a six month build project following nearly two years of planning, preparation and investments in the foundations required to cope with the new technology. It has been a long time coming and we now have a platform that can deliver information to many more people in a much more efficient and user friendly manner.”

The new website creates new resource zones for all key groups which means that those looking to join an existing franchise or franchise a business now have a much more comprehensive online resource - but with all help and advice easy to find and understand. The new website structure has also allowed the amount of franchising resources to be increased from what was already a substantial website.

Endean continues: “The whole system has been designed with flexibility in mind. This means that we already have a list of new developments and additions planned for later in the year and through next year. This makes it an evolving resource that can adapt as technology and demands change, from social media to online video.”

www.thebfa.org has consistently been seen as one of the key franchise websites in the UK and internationally.
