There are five categories for the awards and the finalists for each are listed below:

The bfa HSBC Franchisor of the Year Award is presented to the franchisor who represents consistency and excellence in franchising. This year’s finalists are:

The Emerging Franchisor of the Year Award recognises franchisors who are building solid foundations for success in their first 5 years of franchising. The finalists are:

This year sees the introduction of The Brian Smart Award for International Development. This is for franchisors who have developed a successful international operation. The finalists are:

The Brand Innovation Award is for franchisors who demonstrate an ongoing commitment to identifying opportunities for evolution. The finalists are:

Our final award is The Award for Franchise Support. This is where franchisors ensure that their franchisees are at the heart of the business and demonstrate excellent customer service to other their internal and external stakeholders. Our finalists this year are:

These 17 finalists will present their entries to a judging panel on Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th March 2017. The winners of each category will be announced at the bfa HSBC Franchise Awards gala dinner on 28th June 2017 at the ICC in Birmingham. This year will see the amalgamation of the Franchisor and Franchisee awards for the first time in a night of celebrating franchise success.
