Auditel get off to a flying start in 2011 11/02/2011 11:03

AuditelFlyingStartAuditel had a bumper intake of franchisees this January. Their team of consultants now stands at over 190. This represents growth of 190% since 2005, with over 90% of their network renewing their franchise agreements after 5 and 10 years.

There’s a growing trend for established Auditel businesses to recruit additional staff – sometimes family. In the new intake, Rhys Brennan, a recent university graduate, is joining his father’s South Wales practice. He explains: “My Dad is already a consultant. Having worked with him for six months, I saw a massive opportunity to be running my own business at the age of 23. I had met many of the head office team and felt comfortable and engaged in their company. It wasn’t a difficult choice.”

Another of the new franchisees is Simon Eggleton who lives in Buckinghamshire, with his wife and three children.  Simon was Head of Information Solutions for a major communications network that worked closely with the public safely organisations.

He recalls: “I conducted due diligence into many franchises and stand-alone businesses. Auditel remained my benchmark against which I compared the others. In the final analysis, they offered a business opportunity that would leverage my skills, provide me with flexibility and deliver the sort of returns I aim to get from my new business.”
