Availl, providers of adult care and support services in the Cambridgeshire area since 2007, have announced the first franchisees to join the company as they look to expand nationwide using the franchise model.
Radi Genkov and his wife Katya were formally introduced at a grand opening event in Norwich on 23 October with guests including the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress of Norwich, who performed official opening duties to the delight of all connected to the fledgling franchise. Also in attendance were several managers of local care establishments as well as Availl directors Graham Parker and Paula Wilson-Parker, and franchise manager Paula Spriggs.
Katya says the couple are thrilled to have joined at the outset of the franchise expansion: “Radi and I are very proud to be the first franchisees for Availl here in Norwich. We are particularly excited to be part of a new franchise at the start and look forward to helping them build the brand. The support we have received has been second to none and we are already above target!”
Graham added: “Katya and Radi opened the Norwich office last month, and started recruiting experienced carers onto our training programme. The first group of carers are now in their third week of providing temporary cover to local care homes. And, following registration with the Care Quality Commission, care at home services should soon be available to the local community. These are great achievements by everyone involved.
“On a day that will stay long in the memory, we wish Katya, Radi and their staff all the very best for the future with Availl.”
The company aims to open 9 offices by the end of 2013 as the first steps towards becoming a UK-wide care provider.
