Bluebird Care opens 150th franchise office 17/10/2012 04:23

Peter and Maria celebrate the milestone with their territory's famous landmarks looming large in the backgroundA significant milestone was recently reached for Bluebird Care with the addition of the 150th office in the franchise network.

After a busy 2012 for the UK's capital city, it was fitting that this milestone was achieved with the 22nd London office – the Bluebird Care (Westminster) franchise.

Franchisees Peter and Maria Slough, who are now setting up their office and hope to be trading within the next month or so, are delighted to be the landmark office. Peter said: “We are so pleased to be part of the Bluebird Care network and to be the 150th is very special. We were introduced to the company by a friend of ours who runs two Bluebird Care franchises in the West Country and who is so positive about the move he made into Bluebird Care.”

The network growth has been achieved in just 6 years since the launch of the Bluebird Care franchise.

Franchise director Simon Dalziel believes the company’s recruitment ethos has been key to such rapid and successful expansion, explaining: “We have always said we do not sell franchises – we recruit franchise owners. There is a big difference. Whilst we have to be right for our franchise owners, they have to be right for us, as we are entrusting them with the Bluebird Care brand, a very valuable commodity.”
