Franchise company Card Connection, has announced that it has selected a new franchise manager, Scott Gibson, for the South East region, covering Leicester to London, plus East Anglia and Sussex. Gibson will take over responsibility for providing help and support to 20 franchisees in territories across this region.
“My direct-to-retail background will allow me to provide a structured sales approach for franchisees,” confirms Gibson. “With the backing of Card Connection’s head office, the well organised support team, plus the resources of parent company UKG to draw on, I am looking forward to making a valuable contribution to helping franchisees accelerate the profits of their individual businesses. Opening new retail accounts where franchisees will supply Card Connection’s vast range of quality greeting cards and innovative party accessories will be key to my approach, as well as working closely with retailers to see how we can optimise the level of stock in existing outlets.”
Scott Gibson has 18 years’ sales experience, having worked in organisations including: The Great British Card Co, SJG Agencies (main agent for Wishing Well Studios Ltd and Abracadabra gifts), Carlton Cards Ltd, Paper Island Greetings Ltd, Gala UK Ltd, Sapphire Greetings and Gibson Greetings International Ltd.
