Dream Doors reach a new milestone 14/07/2017 02:27

Dream Doors has never been a company that sits still, but one that’s determined to progress itself over the years. With many new developments being rolled out this year, such as the integration of a fresh revamped website as well as a brand-new television advert, Dream Doors continues that progression. It’s no surprise then, that the company has just recorded a new milestone as two new showrooms have opened on the same day at opposite ends of the country!

The showrooms are based in Exeter and South Glasgow and are owned by Mike Maughan-Brown and Ian McLachlan, both local family men with a passion for kitchen design. The ceremonies were fun and interactive with special guests, such as Lord Mayor Lesley Robinson and Troy Tappenden, MD of Dream Doors.

With the addition of these new branches, Dream Doors now has 75 showrooms across the nation. And, with the company now covering vast swathes of the UK, it’s more than likely that anyone looking for a kitchen transformation would be able to benefit from the local Dream Doors service.

Dream Doors

Mike, who had previously lived in South Africa, moved to England searching for a business that sold a quality product he could believe in. His prior job was as a municipal director, taking responsibility for institutional planning control and management. He says: “I wanted to provide a product to clients that they would buy because they really wanted to, and the Dream Doors model is perfect for this. Replacing the doors and worktops of a kitchen for a fraction of the price is an incredibly sought-after service, which many don’t even know exists!”

Dream Doors

Ian has lived in Glasgow all his life, previously working as a manager for large stores in the area. Ian reached a stage in his life that he felt like he wanted more out of work and that it was time that he became his own boss. After some thought, Ian decided that becoming a Dream Doors franchisee was the best way to go. He says: “I wanted to pursue other opportunities and run my own business. As soon as I discovered the Dream Doors model I realised this was the business I was looking for. Not only by the service we provide but by the professionalism of everyone involved.”

Both Mike and Ian love the freedom that they have managed to gain. The power to be your own boss and decide your working hours is one of many benefits to becoming a franchisee with Dream Doors. If you’re interested in becoming a franchisee with Dream Doors, get in contact today, no previous kitchen experience is necessary!
