Maid2Clean branches out to Malta 30/08/2012 09:17

From Manchester to Malta: Justine and Mark are ready for their international challengeTwo British Maid2Clean franchisees have taken the adventurous plunge of opening a master franchise business in Malta in addition to running their UK operations within the same franchise system.

The franchisees, Justine and Mark Cook of Worsley in Manchester, are excited about the new market facing them in Malta. Mark said: “One of the greatest challenges will be to set up the infrastructure to meet the needs of all businesses including staffing needs.”

Having successfully run three different UK areas – namely Manchester, Oldham and Cornwall – over the past six years, the couple intend to use capital reserves they have built up to date to launch their Maltese operation.

Mike Hanrahan, managing director of Maid2Clean, said: “It is testament to the business system that Maid2Clean can operate in such diverse markets and we will be doing everything we can to ensure that Mark and Justine are successful in their Master Licence venture.

“Mark and Justine are pioneering a bold step in the full knowledge that the Maid2Clean system has served them well to date. Fortunately for them, they will not need a translated version of the 400 page operations manual although they are expected to change the existing operations manual to suit the Maltese market. The franchisees will go to whatever lengths are needed to become successful in the Maltese market.”
