Martin & Co shortlisted for national customer service awards 20/02/2013 09:17

The network will be hoping to retain its title of Best Large Letting Chain as well as scooping some of the regional awardsFifteen Martin & Co offices have been included in the shortlist as one of the best letting agents in their region as part of the Estate & Letting Agent Awards 2013 (ESTAS). 7 regions out of 18 include a Martin & Co agent in their regional shortlist, with many offices competing between each other for the gold award at a local level.

The ESTAS determine the best letting agents in the country through research carried out amongst customers who are asked a series of questions about the service they have received from their agent. 23,000 questionnaires were completed by customers during the competition.

The franchise is also defending its title of Best Large Letting Chain - Gold award, won in 2012 following consecutive Silvers in 2010 and 2011 and Gold in 2009. Jayne Codling, marketing director, said: “This award means a lot to Martin & Co and our offices as it is voted for by landlords. This is the fifth time we have entered these awards and we’re hopeful of retaining our Gold title. The offices put in a lot of effort to obtain feedback from our landlords and it is not to be underestimated. To have 15 of our offices shortlisted is a real achievement.

“Customer service is really important in the letting industry and there is a constant need to keep improving the level of service provided. The ESTAS are the only awards that recognise just that. Word of mouth and customer satisfaction are powerful marketing tools. A big thank you to all our landlords who completed a questionnaire as without their feedback we would not have been included in the shortlist.”

The regional and national winners will be announced by TV property expert Phil Spencer at the 10th annual ESTAS ceremony at the Hilton Park Lane on Friday 19th April.
