Monkey Music announce their second book 08/06/2017 11:25

Monkey Music is delighted to announce a major second book publishing deal with Campbell Books, the specialist pre-school imprint of Macmillan Children’s Books.

Monkey Music was founded in 1993 by musician and teacher, Angie Coates. Today, with over 50 successful franchisees operating throughout the UK, more than 12,000 families attend 1,200 Monkey Music classes taking place every week.

Delightful duo Monkey and Mo are back! Join them on their newest musical adventure, singing, dancing and playing all kinds of instruments as they share the joy of music in Monkey Music: Magic Sounds!

Monkey Music, Magic Sounds

Based on the award-winning Monkey Music classes and featuring the much-loved illustrations of Emily Bolam, the Monkey Music series encourages children to begin their own love of music. The accompanying CD includes 20 fantastic sing-along songs that can be played on their own, on the go or alongside the book. The interactive book is packed with tips for how to enjoy each song.

Monkey Music: Magic Sounds is the second book in the series, following on from the success of Monkey Music: Lets Sing and Play published in 2016.

Music can play a fundamental part in pre-school children's development, helping them to enjoy socialising, learning and playing, and Magic Sounds encourages children to begin their own musical journey as well as boosting their educational and emotional growth.

Angie Coates, founder Monkey Music, said, “I am thrilled to be sharing our second book with little monkey families everywhere. Music plays a vital role in supporting early child development and by singing, dancing and playing along to Magic Sounds everyone can have great fun whilst learning!“
