June has worked in the franchise industry for over 15 years. Her appointment comes with the remit of overseeing the recruitment and training of new franchisees, as well as responsibility for the operational and management side of all existing franchisees.
The announcement comes as part of the franchise’s growth plans in coming months. Jat Mann, managing director of PC Pal, confirmed: “We have big plans for the future, to expand across the UK and Ireland, growing the PC Pal group and the brand as well as building and developing our head office team. We pride ourselves on the level of support and training that our franchisees get and that will continue into the future. Bringing in a franchise manager was the essential next step for PC Pal’s growth.”
June outlined the challenge ahead: “Our plan for the next 18 months is to double the size of the PC Pal franchise group as well as extend the head office team.
“We have now moved all technical training in-house, giving even the most non-technically-minded person the best opportunities to pass the Microsoft and CompTIA exams. We provide an intensive and specified training programme with a combination of technical, onsite, marketing and business plan training, all done by our experienced head office team.
“This training and support gives our new franchisees the best possible start to their new business and, combined with the ongoing technical and marketing support provided to all our franchisees, we feel we provide everything necessary to build a successful PC Pal Franchise business.”
The company currently have over 20 franchisees across the UK, having take on their first in 2008.
