Right At Home UK reaches early growth milestone 08/08/2012 10:44

Ken Deary is looking to maximise franchisee support rather than numbersRight at Home UK is celebrating the news that its office group will soon hit double figures. The quality home care agency started franchising in the UK in early 2011 and has adopted a strategy of measured growth, which focuses on finding the right franchisees to ensure the continued success of the group.

It's eighth office, Right at Home (Guildford and Farnham), has just opened and won its first client within a week, much to the pride of owner Alastair Shanks and registered manager Hazel Butcher. Two more upcoming local owner-operators have completed their two-week Franchisee Training Programme and are working towards the process of certification from the Care Quality Commission. Their offices, in the key areas of Bournemouth and Cardiff, are due to open later this year.

Right At Home UK master franchisor Ken Deary said: “I strongly believe that our measured UK expansion strategy will allow us to give unparalled levels of support to our franchisees as they start up their businesses, providing high quality in-home care services.”

This approach has met with high acclaim from the franchisees whose offices will open later this year. New Cardiff franchisee Joseph said: "I have found Ken and all of the team very professional, friendly and informative. I have been impressed by the franchise package I have received to date and even more so by the training course which Right at Home have put together.

“They have a great team, with passion and the drive to always improve, which was a key factor to why I chose them. Right at Home as a franchisor has been nothing but supportive during my process, and had a big role to play in me securing my finances. I personally believe that I would have not been able to open a care service business if it wasn't for the support from everyone there, especially Ken Deary, whose advice has been invaluable."

Right at Home has almost 300 offices worldwide.
