robertson technologies’ Thames Valley East franchise wins contract with major London wealth management firm 16/02/2011 11:18

A recently established robertson technologies franchise has landed a major client in the form of a prestigious City of London IFA and wealth management firm.

The Thames Valley East franchise, headed by highly-regarded IT veteran Keith Lawson, has been asked by Carrington Investments, of London’s Baker Street, to take on and manage all its IT needs.

Keith Lawson said: “Carrington Investments is in the business of dealing with other people’s money and in every area of its activity it has to be efficient, accurate and of the utmost integrity.

“It is vital that it has systems in place which allow clients to place their confidence in the firm and I am delighted that the Thames Valley East division has been chosen to help them fulfill their technical obligations.”

Keith has worked in IT for 15 years, holding senior positions in a retail company, a food manufacturer and a technical consultancy. He has dealt with everything from front line support to infrastructure and supply chain, ending up as an IT manager.

However, when he was made redundant for the second time, he decided to use the opportunity to take control of his career and set it on a path that better suited his own professional desires.

He said: “robertson technologies gives me the chance to create something over which I have complete control and where there is a direct correlation between the effort I put in and the results I take out.

“Taking on this franchise gives me a chance to remain in the IT sector, build a business and get back to the basics of working directly with clients. In only a matter of months I’ve already generated some very positive results and I am looking confidently to the year ahead.”
