Wildfire Technology expand franchise team 11/09/2012 10:28

JimWildfire Technology, franchise software developer and bfa Supplier, have recruited a new marketing and sales professional to expand their reach in the franchise marketplace. 

Jim Connell has joined as business developer with a remit to enhance the Glasgow-based company’s business management solutions aimed at the franchise industry. Jim will be working directly with both franchisors and franchisees, large and small, to ensure the products meet the needs of their target market.

Nick Donald, managing director of Wildfire, said: “We are pleased to welcome Jim on board; he brings a wealth of marketing and sales experience, with many years in technology industries. He is an excellent fit with our team and we look forward to Jim helping us to develop deeper and longer relationships with clients old and new in the franchise industry.”

Aside from the usual “looking forward to working with the team”, Jim said: “I am keen to get to know the intricacies of the franchise industry and to pick the brains of experts, both franchisor and franchisee, to make sure that Franchise Manager [Wildfire’s franchising business software] continues to be relevant and essential to running franchise businesses.”
