Belvoir recruitment drive moves into top gear
Belvoir, one of the UK's largest independent specialist lettings agencies, enjoyed what is described as "their best show for ten years," at the 2009 National Franchise Exhibition.
"This was a very successful show for Belvoir and certainly bodes well for our recruitment plans for 2010," confirmed Dorian Gonsalves, Sales Director. "Mike Goddard, the CEO of Belvoir is also Chairman of the British Franchise Association and his presence, as well as the impact of the talks he was invited to give throughout the day brought a constant stream of visitors to the stand. People met the recruitment team and took the opportunity to chat with existing Franchise Owners about their experiences, which is something we very much encourage. We also hired a living statue from Covent Garden to entertain people and he proved a huge hit with everyone!
"We spoke to potential Franchise Owners from all over Northern Ireland, Scotland and England," continued Dorian, "There are several exclusive territories available in these areas where the rental market is very strong and we are also looking to expand into parts of Wales. This recruitment drive is part of Belvoir's overall strategy to increase network growth during 2010.
"Belvoir performed extremely well during the recession and unlike many other businesses continued to experience positive growth. We are looking forward to opening a further 20-25 Franchises over the next 12 months and are now very busy following up all these new leads. There are some fantastic opportunities available for the right people, and previous experience in property management is not required as full training is provided."
