As Ableworld celebrate their twentieth Birthday they are proud to announce that although sales were 3% down for their Financial Year ending August 2020, the overall profits were up by 26.4%. This is across all the companies in the Group.

Mike Williams, Ableworld’s M.D. stated “Our strategy for continuing to open throughout the pandemic was certainly correct, not only from the moral point of view, supporting the vulnerable in our society but also from a Financial point of view. Our staff have been fantastic and in return, wherever possible we have supported them. A lot of staff in the start of the pandemic were Furloughed and those that weren’t we have looked after them in many different ways including extra holidays and financially. Our Franchises were also supported with a free months Management Service Fee along with annual rebates on their fees.
No staff have been made redundant, in fact the opposite, we have and are increasing staff numbers, plus bonuses, staff have seen overall virtually £200,000 extra in their salaries!
So far this year (nine months) we are showing a sales increase of over 20% on last year along with profit increases. Although we believe the best is still to come in the year as we launch our 20th Birthday Sale, once again though, we have tried to look after our staff with, in the main well above inflation salary increases plus a great bonus structure.”

Ableworld’s 20th Birthday Sale is soon to be launched, with celebrations across the company for the 20-year milestone. Ableworld recently started their celebrations with a Store Managers morning at Ableworld Head Office to launch the upcoming Birthday Sale, which was a triumph with all. For the Birthday Sale Ableworld have secured excellent product offers, alongside increased marketing efforts and in-store festivities. Ableworld are confident that their big Birthday Sale will bring new customers in store, and in turn be a success and sales will further increase for the year.
