Franchise Projects offers bespoke solutions to some of the challenges faced by franchisors as they start their franchised business, scale or simply start to make changes.
Our team have four main areas of focus:
– Development, writing, review and management of operations manuals; the lynch pin of a good franchise model
– Training the Head Office team to deliver training in their specialist area by working to design sessions that are interactive, give confidence to the trainer but work within the comfort zone of those delivering them
– Developing onboarding training plans to ensure that the incoming franchisees have the best possible start to their business life
– Guiding franchised businesses to find the right support for their franchise – referring software providers, professional services and full service consultancy where needed. The commitment to ethical franchising is strong and for that reason there are no referral fees paid or charged.
We’re open to talk with any franchised business – we don’t have all the solutions but might be able to introduce you to someone who does.
The operations manual is referenced in the franchise agreement (in most agreements well over 30 times!) and we see our role is to ensure that a franchised business fully develops their manual to reflect that business and to become the ‘go to’ reference point, whilst fulfilling the legal obligations of our clients.
Our first stop is content – does the content tell a franchisee what they are expected to do and the standards and boundaries they must work to and within? We then look at presentation of that that manual and how best to deliver it. We work with the best options for the business and can offer a tailored solution for an online version that ensures the manual stays current and is actually used by franchisees.
Having been a franchisee, and an award winning franchisor, and working for several franchised brands, the founder knows what works. This includes keeping the manual updated, protecting the assets but making the manual a first point of reference – including delivering key documents and news to the network.
Since the manual is a great starting point for training and onboarding franchisees, and with a background in training and train the trainer development, we work with launching (or growing and developing businesses) to deliver great onboarding sessions utilising in house skills.
We work in the UK but can offer some solutions internationally.
