NatWest recognises the potential of franchising and has an established team of Franchise Development Managers across the UK supported by Franchise Accredited Relationship Mangers to support Franchisors and Franchisees achieve their ambitions. We support franchisees on their journey from starting up a new franchise right the way through to expansion plans and growth into multi-unit operators with a wide range of solutions. We can facilitate basic banking needs, lending solutions, advice on risk management, accounting solutions through FreeAgent and a wide range of insights on the Natwest Business Hub along with access to our Boost and Woman in Business Programmes.
Clearly as a bank our key role in the sector is the provision of financial services. Most typically these are loans, overdrafts, asset finance, invoice finance, card services, international payments and HR/health & safety advice. Across the UK we have c. 200 accredited franchise managers and support staff who have completed a training programme endorsed by our industry body, the Chartered Banker Institute, and the bfa.
