Sharanjit Gill of the award-winning Belvoir Leicester Central office has significantly expanded his business through the purchase of two well-established Belvoir offices in Manchester. Sharanjit is now the owner of Belvoir Manchester Central and co-owns Belvoir Chorlton and Cheadle with family member Kamie Uppal.
“I have run Belvoir Leicester Central for seven and a half years now,” explains Sharanjit. “I am very proud of everything we have achieved during this time. Our superbly diverse team offer outstanding customer service and marketing skills that have resulted in us winning many prestigious Belvoir and national industry awards over the years. I am now looking forward to implementing the same award-winning strategies and processes at the Belvoir Manchester Central office to make this office equally as successful as Leicester Central. My wife’s cousin, Kamie Uppal, who lives locally, has joined me as the franchisee at the Chorlton and Cheadle offices, and has many very exciting plans to put Belvoir firmly on the map in South Manchester.
“Belvoir Manchester Central already has quite a large team, and some staff members have been there for over ten years. However, I am now looking to expand the team by recruiting some top class, experienced property personnel, who will enjoy working in a beautiful contemporary City Centre office on Whitworth Street West to help us deliver on the amazing potential of the sales and lettings market in this area. As the country comes out of the pandemic we look forward to welcoming existing and new clients and providing them with our gold-standard lettings and estate agency services.”
Kamie Uppal, new owner of the Belvoir Chorlton and Cheadle offices says: “This is a very exciting career change for me, and I have already expanded the team at our office on Wilbraham Road, Chorlton. As a landlord myself, and someone who is very familiar with this area, I really welcome this opportunity to develop the lettings side of the business and importantly, to build on our estate agency services. I am currently busy contacting landlords and tenants to introduce myself and to assure them of my determination to look after their properties going forward.
“I consider myself to be a real people person, having formally been an NHS counsellor in mental health services. My husband is also in business, owning several convenience stores, so we have lots of commercial experience. The Belvoir training course has been very comprehensive and with the back-up of the Belvoir franchise support team and of course Sharanjit’s experience of running an award-winning office I am confident that the offices in Chorlton and Cheadle, which we hope to develop into Belvoir Manchester South, will be very successful.”
Speaking of this latest acquisition by Sharanjit, Belvoir CEO Dorian Gonsalves says: “In years gone by the Belvoir Manchester Central office has been the largest, most productive office in the network, leading the way with some very exciting initiatives. In recent years other Belvoir offices have grown larger than Manchester Central and I know that Sharanjit is very keen to return this office to the number one spot in the network.
“I have known Sharanjit for a number of years and I am always impressed with his professionalism and constant efforts to deliver the very best services to clients. He is also very supportive of the Belvoir business model and I wish him every success in building his business empire within the Belvoir network.
“I recently met Kamie during her training course and found her to be a very personable and ambitious individual who I am sure will do well in her new career as the owner of the Belvoir Chorlton and Cheadle offices.”
