On 24th and 25th November, our amazing industry joined us in Birmingham as the bfa Annual Conference returned for 2022. The last couple of years have challenged businesses in more ways than any of us could imagine and, after a successful return in 2021, it was great to see everyone together again. The conference brings together all corners of the franchising community for networking, innovation and reflection and, with an agenda full of fantastic speakers and keynotes covering topics in franchising and wider business, there was plenty of learning opportunities across the two days.
We would like to say a massive thank you to our sponsors, Worldpay from FIS, to the brands who exhibited, to our speakers and to everyone who attended for making the conference a great event.
The conference will return in 2023 so watch this space!
Our packed agenda saw inspirational keynotes take to the stage including mental health advocate Michael Matania, founder and CEO of Mr & Mrs Smith Tamara Lohan MBE, BBC World News presenter Ben Thompson and former Royal Marine Scotty Mills.
Three carefully crafted breakout sessions across the two days gave delegates the opportunity to meet the brands putting their networks at the heart of development, talk about trust, values and purpose and hear from those sharing challenges when starting a business.
Between the sessions there was plenty of time for networking with peers and meeting our exhibitors offering a wide range of B2B services. If you didn’t get the chance to speak with everyone or you missed the conference, you can find out more about our exhibitors by viewing their tiles below.
