The British Franchise Association have appointed Helen Thompson QFP as the Head of Franchise Support. This new role embraces the continued evolution of the industry with the association keeping its members at the very heart of everything it does. Understanding the needs and challenges of everyone in franchising is critical to ensure our collective success. Helen has over 13 year’s experience in the industry and has delivered in both an advisory capacity and directly supporting franchisors and franchisees with their network development. Helen returned to the bfa last September.
Speaking of the next phase in her career Helen noted,
“I was thrilled to return to the bfa last year, the landscape and ethos of the association is very different, and throughout 2020 we surpassed the expectations of our customers. We know from many people that we are the association of choice and it goes to show, that when the only motive for your actions, is for that of your members, amazing things really can and will happen!”
Speaking of her appointment Helen added,
“I am excited to further establish human connections within the industry, the bfa have a wealth of knowledge and huge amount of passion. Members can reach out any time and are welcome regardless of network size or industry experience. Our doors really are always open!”
The franchise support department will be responsible for ensuring that the customers experience is the best it can be, and that education and support services for the entire industry continue to be of the highest standard. Over the coming months members will start to reap the rewards of a fabulous outreach programme as the bfa leads the way in educating our next generation of franchisees and franchisors. Many more projects are in planning phase right now and will be shared with the industry in the coming months.
