The 15th of March saw bfa PR Manager Patrick Hulbert, Events Manager Rebekah Shawsun and PR & Communications Executive Caitlin Cook complete the Milton Park Red Nose Day Fun Run in just under 30 minutes.
The event was organised by Milton Park, an Oxfordshire-based business park in which the bfa resides. Over 100 people took part dressed in lab coats and goggle glasses, with a total of £2250 was raised for Comic Relief.
Nancy Apperley, organiser of the Milton Park fun run, was delighted to see such a supportive turnout:
“The Milton Park Red Nose Day Fun Run saw over 100 people running around a 5k route across the park. It was great that so many people came together to raise money for such an amazing cause. At Milton Park we really enjoy putting on fun and sociable charity events and love that the Milton Park community always come out in full force to get behind us.”
Caitlin Cook was proud to complete a 5k run and is already looking towards the 2020 Milton Park Red Nose Day Fun Run.
“Although I had been nervous about being able to complete a 5k run, that completely disappeared as soon as I saw how many people from Milton Park had decided to come together and run for Comic Relief. It was a terrific experience, though I don’t recommend trying to run in goggle glasses!”
Comic Relief saw an incredible £63 million raised, and still counting.
