National People and Brand Development Manager, Heather Keep, leads the training, recruitment and marketing offering for Right at Home’s network of 60+ offices
Heather has had a successful career in training, recruitment and management supporting people to reach their true potential in multiple vocational areas.
Speaking on the role, Heather says: “I’ve always loved training and empowering people to succeed so this role was an amazing opportunity.”
Relocating from Yorkshire to Liverpool in 2011, Heather joined homecare franchise Right at Home in 2016 as Training and Recruitment Manager. Making an immediate impact, Heather set to work revamping the training programme for new Franchise Owners and their employees, and embedding a series of time saving tools to support the network with recruitment and retention, which is notoriously challenging in the care sector. As such, in 2019, Heather was appointed National People and Brand Development Manager with an expanded remit which also covered marketing.
Leading on three core business areas during the pandemic has been a mammoth role but one which Heather has taken all in her stride.
“In 2020, we supported our network to recruit over 1,000 CareGivers so our Clients could continue receiving the care they needed, to stay safe at home. Training was ramped up to ensure the highest standard of safety, competency and continuous employee support. As a network, we’ve actually seen month-on-month growth during the pandemic as we have demonstrated through our marketing communications how we are able to continue delivering safe homecare.”
“It’s been a very challenging year but by far the most rewarding. The future is looking very bright for Right at Home and I’m excited to see where the next 12 months will take us.”
