Gina Piper recently joined Gravity Active Entertainment as Franchise Sales Manager. Gina has been working in franchising for almost 8 years and has a wealth of knowledge across all aspects of the industry.
“I had a property franchise background prior to joining Gravity, which really was a very male dominated industry,” comments Gina. “This sometimes came with its challenges over the years, but I was lucky to have good mentors to lean on and my experiences helped me learn, grow and adapt quickly.”
Gravity started in 2014 with one Trampoline Park. Since then, the business has grown to 15 sites across the UK and 2 internationally and in 2018 decided to expand through franchising. Gina’s primary role will be to grow the current business through franchising across the UK and the rest of the globe.
“I’ve joined Gravity at a really exciting time for them,” comments Gina. “The business has been such a success so far due to the continuous development that co-owners Michael and Harvey do, but franchising will take the business to a whole new level.
“Leisure was really hit hard by the pandemic, but once allowed to reopen in between lockdowns in 2020, Gravity exceeded breakeven target, even with the Scotland sites remaining closed. With 30 different products available to put into sites, there really is something for everyone. I’m very much looking forward to being a part of Gravity at this exciting time and using my knowledge and experience to grow the business through the franchise model.”
