There are no barriers to career advancement at Belvoir. Here we shine a spotlight on three members of the senior management team

Chief Financial Officer, Louise George

Louise George, a Chartered Accountant with over 18 years’ experience at AIM-listed companies, joined the Belvoir Group PLC Board in 2014.  Louise has since overseen seven significant corporate acquisitions that have transformed the Group from a single brand lettings franchise with 162 offices to a multi-brand, multi-disciplined franchise group of over 400 individual businesses.

“Women should aim high in business, as anything less would be selling ourselves short,” advises Louise. “Belvoir’s ethos is to support people in achieving their potential, balancing individual performance with working as part of a team.”

Group Operations Director, Grace Milham

With over 20 years of experience in commercial and operational management, Grace first joined Belvoir as a Business Development Manager in 2011 and was promoted to her new role in 2020. As well as being the mother of two young children, Grace works to coordinate best practice across all Belvoir brands, playing a pivotal role in exciting new Group projects.

“Working for a company that rewards hard work and commitment with loyalty and opportunity is such a pleasure,” says Grace.” I’ve never felt a ceiling at Belvoir, glass or otherwise. I just focus on what needs doing and do it to the best of my ability. I like to think I work hard in my job, and at home when being mummy. I don’t think anyone feels they get the perfect balance but having an understanding employer who places importance on family life certainly helps!”

Marketing Director, Kiara Simmance

With over 14 years of marketing experience, Kiara joined Belvoir as Marketing Manager in 2014 and was promoted to Marketing Director just two years later. Kiara is now responsible for overseeing all brands within the Group on a national level, as well as ensuring that franchisees have all the necessary tools to elevate their businesses on a local level.

“My job is very important to me, but I’m also the mother of young child, juggling that work/life balance,” says Kiara. “This has been made much easier because Belvoir has been very accommodating of any small requests I’ve made, and I’ve always felt very supported.

“When it comes to senior leadership roles, I believe that women should expect nothing less than being able to sit at the decision-making table alongside men – if this is what they want. This is something that Belvoir actively encourages.”
