When mum of one Kate Davies resigned from her role as Project Manager for the United Dance Organisation in January 2021, to concentrate fully on her new venture as a franchisee and Principal of Stagecoach Performing Arts in Cardiff, she had never felt more financially secure. All the while, the nation was facing the worst pandemic in almost a century.
“As crazy as 2020 was, it spoke volumes that I felt stable enough as a business owner to give up my consistent monthly income to focus my efforts on developing my Stagecoach franchise. I had complete faith in my ability to not only support my family but also to give us the comfortable lifestyle I’ve always dreamt of. I feel very lucky that I’m able to run a business that I feel passionately about whilst also benefiting from the reassurance of a network of like-minded franchisees, who have become more like friends to me. Investing in my Stagecoach franchise was the best decision I ever made.”
“I officially took over as Principal of the existing franchise in Cardiff in December 2019, launching in January 2020. Nine weeks later, schools were closed under the nationwide lockdown. To say I was devastated would be an understatement. But the team at head office quickly initiated a whole host of online resources we, as franchisees, could make use of. Now, I work with Stagecoach on supporting other franchisees in running their own online classes.”
What i love most about being a Stagecoach franchisee..
“The best thing about being a Stagecoach franchisee is the work-life balance I’ve achieved. I truly feel as though I’m able to do it all. I’m putting my career expertise to good use, making a difference to children in my own community, earning a good income for my family and never missing a single moment of my daughter, Darcie’s, childhood. What more could I want?”
