“I’m pleased to bring you up to date with a number of items that the bfa team have been working on recently. The buzz word around the world at the moment is ‘Pivot’ and we have been doing just that! I’m proud at the pace the team internally have been working to ensure the bfa remains at the forefront and continues to innovate and educate while keeping our standards at the heart of everything we do.”

bfa Franchise Support Forum

As many of you will recall we created a support group on LinkedIn at the start of the pandemic to provide resources and tools to support you. Today, 340 of you have joined that group and we now have a question on its future. As an association we have seen a worrying number of non-Member franchisors in really tough situations and in order to protect the industry we believe the bfa has an obligation to assist. But this is your group and we want your opinion. Do you think we should open the group to non-member franchisors that need a helping hand and standards based advice? We have set up a live poll within the group so please, if you feel strongly on this either way, hop over and have your say! Vote Here

Month of Learning
July will see a focus on an entire month dedicated to your learning. At times we have received feedback about some of the hurdles there are to complete your Qualified Franchise Professional (QFP), either the date or the location hasn’t fitted. So, for July only we are taking the portfolio of core modules online.

For those of you that are yet to start – you can sign up for free and complete all four courses during July. And as an added incentive you will receive one of the day courses free of charge!

If you have started but not quite finished – in July you can complete the remaining modules with a 25% discount on each course.

Find out more about QFP and sign up here

The first of our Virtual Series on Tuesday was a huge success and we’re already looking forward to the next session on ‘re-build’.

As many of you have told us you wanted to complete the entire series, but couldn’t make the first session, we’re offering you the opportunity to still complete the entire series by catching up on the first session via the recording. This means you can still gain access to the support group and achieve your 250 QFP points. Click here to book on ahead of the second session on 15th July.

I hope you see the value in some, or all of the initiatives we are bringing to you. As a little reminder, the revised date for your diary for the Annual Conference and Awards is the 30th November and 1st December. You are all very important to us so we will continue to monitor and the Government guidelines on large gatherings and keep you updated of further changes to these dates as and when needed!
