CEO Update, 28th May

“As we move into the ‘re-group’ phase in franchising the association is busy laying foundations for a more nimble future where we can respond quickly to the diverse needs of the membership. The areas in scope for our current review are, a membership solution that makes the bfa more accessible, FREE franchisee membership for all bfa member networks, a variety of high quality virtual training solutions, and a new office location that will help us to help you thrive in franchising.”
– Pip Wilkins, CEO

Generating a collective interest in franchising:
The industry websites are seeing an increase in visitor traffic and franchisor pipelines are by building as more people are keen to take ownership of their futures. We are seeing enquiries from prospects looking to achieve a better balance as lockdown has forced them to slow down and enjoy time with families. Others simply do not want to be in limbo in the future and wish to go into business for themselves. The bfa will be running a digital ‘go local’ campaign at the beginining of July that will promote your businesses to prospects and will highlight franchisees as local community contributors to support their business regeneration.

If you are keen to participate in this campaign please email press@thebfa.org for more details.
