Given the COVID-19 state of flux, we appreciate you may be finding things as challenging as we are – adjusting to working from home, being in lock down and navigating how businesses can be effective in the months ahead. Not much could have prepared us for what is unfolding and we are continually looking to find ways we can support you whilst we all keep safe and well.
With that in mind I am pleased to update on a few things:
The Leading Educator – We are continuing to bring experts together every day at 11am and will issue these schedules weekly with the links need to access. We have also been receiving a number of requests for the recordings of previous sessions. Should you want any of these please email email@example.com and we will facilitate sending you a link. Please note that you will need to download GoToMeetings (which is free and easy to do) to listen to these.
bfa Franchise Showcase – This week saw the launch of our first Franchise Showcase. These are pop up online events showcasing a franchisor or franchisee running a class or activity. Our thanks to The Creation Station who entertained franchisors and their children to make a collaged portraits. Details of these unique pop ups will be shared in the LinkedIn Group so keep checking in for details.
bfa Franchise Support Forum – This is our online Members LinkedIn group which almost 250 of you have joined. It’s the platform we are using for regular updates and a place you can ask questions of your peers and engage. If you are yet to join the link to get involved is: https://www.linkedin.com/groups/8917072/
Support Guide – Following on from our first Franchise Support Guide that we added into the ‘bfa Franchise Support Forum’ last week, we have now created our second guide. This one is called the ‘Well-Being Support Guide’ and is focused on helping you structure your day and keeping positive while remote working. This will be uploaded to the LinkedIn Group today so please do go and take a look.
Influence – We are continuing with our lobbying activity working with the CBI and other trade associations contacts. Early next week we will be circulating a Survey to our franchisor members to gain your insight into the Government support initiatives and the experiences and challenges you are facing so that we can focus our lobbying activities in the right areas.
