“To truly represent the franchising sector means not only looking after the best interests of franchisors and professional affiliates but those of franchisees too. This week I am really pleased to tell you about some new initiatives we have launched for your franchisees and I hope you will direct them to the support available.” – Pip Wilkins, CEO |
Influence We are excited to be in a position to bring you results of our industry survey next week. However, in the meantime we wanted to bring you some value that could make a big difference in your ongoing development. On Thursday, 7th May Brad Sugars, the ActionCOACH founder, Chairman and CEO will take over the 4pm Franchisor Power Hour and share his 11 steps that all business owners need to take now. Brad will present and take questions about ‘PIVOT’ – How to Survive & Thrive. We often talk about the power of collective ambition in franchising. Having strong relationships with our members means we can collaborate on amazing opportunities like this one. It isn’t everyday that you can secure an international keynote speaker to present, and I’m delighted we are able to open the opportunity to hear from Brad, to the entire franchising sector. This is testament to the relationships and influence the bfa have built both nationally and internationally. |

I am incredibly sad to say that on Monday 27th April, Steve Calvert suddenly passed away. Steve was the Franchise Recruitment Director at NIC Services Group and was a highly valued member of the team there. He was a huge advocate of the bfa, a regular at many of our events and he also served as a Forum Chair in the South West region. Our thoughts are with his family and friends. As an industry we have truly lost one of the good ones. – Pip Wilkins, CEO |
