ChipsAway celebrates record month

ChipsAway, the minor car body repair specialist franchise, celebrated a record month in July with enquiries to repair scratches and scuffs hitting almost 21,000 – the highest level in the company’s eighteen-year history.

Appealing to the ‘make do and mend’ mentality of today’s car owner, ChipsAway has increased its brand exposure with a refreshed TV advert and extended summer campaign, running from June-September, which has generated over 50% more leads compared to the same time last year.

Tim Harris, CEO of ChipsAway, said:  “Frugal car owners recognise the value of dealing with minor damage to their cars before it becomes more serious and more expensive to repair.   This is a wise move if the car is being prepared for selling on or if the owner needs to keep hold of their vehicle for the time being.”

ChipsAway now has a nationwide network of around 300 technicians providing on-the-spot repairs to minor damage such as paintwork scratches, bumper scuffs and kerbed alloy wheels.
