Coconut Media has been shortlisted for an award at the 2013 CIPR Wessex and Channel Islands PRide Awards, in the Outstanding Small Consultancy category. The awards recognise the achievements of public relations practitioners across the regions of the UK, and are the most prestigious and rigorous in the PR sector.
Director Sally Butters said: “We’re thrilled to be shortlisted with our first ever entry in to these awards. Coconut Media specialise in marketing and PR for the franchise industry and we are very proud of the results we get for our range of national and global franchise clients. I’ve been a CIPR member since graduating from the PR degree at Bournemouth University over a decade ago and it’s great to be involved in these awards as a finalist.”
Commenting on this year’s shortlist announcement, CIPR president Sue Wolstenhome said: “The CIPR PRide Awards celebrate the very best in public relations from across the UK’s regions and nations. This year’s entries were all of an incredibly high standard, highlighting the industry-leading work that is taking place right across the UK. I would like to congratulate all of those who have been shortlisted for an award; their success demonstrates their exemplary achievements in such a thriving profession, and recognises the impact they have made in their region and beyond.”
This year marks the tenth anniversary of the awards, with winners set to be announced on 20 November at St Mary’s Stadium, Southampton.
