ComputerXplorers increases network coverage

ComputerXplorers have recruited former sales and marketing professional Jude Parker for their new territory of Harrogate and North Yorkshire. Jude will provide technology training for children aged 3-13 in classes that are run in schools and nurseries, as after school clubs or during school time.

Classes are designed to integrate the use of ICT across all curriculum subjects; mastering technology skills at an early age increases children’s e-confidence and competence, and gives them a great head start to their education.

Explaining her enthusiasm for her new franchise venture, Jude said: “Technology is increasingly becoming embedded in everything we do, whether it be for work or play, communication or creation. Meeting the required levels of ICT provision is a real challenge for some schools and this is where ComputerXplorers can help. By giving schools and parents the choice of additional and complementary primary education in ICT, and by including ComputerXplorers sessions either as part of the weekly timetable or an after-school activity, children’s educational and technological skills levels can be significantly boosted.

“We know that children learn more when they are having fun, just seeing the children’s reactions in our classes is brilliant. They enjoy it so much and it also works for the teachers. Everyone has smiles on their faces, so its win-win all round.”
