Chartered accountants, business advisory and financial services organisation d&t has announced the launch of its new ‘cost effective’ bookkeeping service aimed at organisations with large volumes of transactions such as franchised restaurants, retailers, cleaning companies and domiciliary care franchises.
Dave Galvin QFP, managing director of d&t, confirms: “It has come to our attention that many firms in the industry are paying over the odds for their bookkeeping. Therefore, from October 2019, our newly expanded team of specialist staff will be able to manage general ledger, record and match transactions, reconcile bank records and produce financial statements plus all the other tasks normally undertaken by a bookkeeper for just £25/hour.
“Economies of scale mean that we can offer such great value. A set monthly fee will be agreed depending on requirements and this will be reviewed quarterly. We have piloted the service with some of our existing clients and feedback has been particularly positive, so we are now delighted to be able to roll this out to new clients too.
“With HMRC introducing Making Tax Digital (MTD) for the majority of businesses in April 2020, we are encouraging clients to make the move to cloud-based accounting as soon as possible. For those already using software such as QuickBooks or Zero, bookkeeping services can be kept to a minimum therefore offering an even more financially attractive option. Organisations can focus their attention on the day-to-day running of their businesses, while we take the headache out of the finances saving them both time and money at the same time.”
