The Massage Company Tunbridge Wells was named Business Champion for Kent in this year’s Town & County awards, with High Wycombe’s inclusion in the final 100 making it a double win for the franchise.
Open to all businesses with 50 employees or less, the Town & County Business Champions 2021 recognises the role that these businesses play in their local communities and the UK economy, both as employers and service providers.
The Business Champion title reflects the contribution that The Massage Company has made to the Tunbridge Wells area and the Kent economy, by making high-quality, regular massage accessible to all ages and genders, and boosting employment in the community.
It’s the first win for the Tunbridge Wells centre, but joins a long list of awards for The Massage Company franchise, including the SME National Business Awards and the Federation of Small Businesses Awards.
Operating a unique monthly subscription model, with convenient opening hours and locations across the UK, The Massage Company is enabling people to make massage part of their regular wellbeing routines. Their goal is to change perceptions of massage therapy among the British public, and these latest awards are another step closer to that goal.
The Massage Company’s founder, Charlie Thompson, comments: “We’re so excited to see our Tunbridge Wells centre win the first of what will surely be many more awards in the future. Taran and the team have developed strong and consistent quality standards, making us a more and more reliable choice for the communities in and around the town. We are really just getting started, and the future looks bright in Kent!”
