Driver Hire’s Jim Richards is network’s flavour of the month

Driver Hire franchisee Jim Richards and his team at his Birmingham office have beaten off the challenge of Driver Hire’s nationwide recruitment franchise network to claim the company’s ‘Office of the Month’ prize.

“Jim Richards and his Birmingham team, Carolyn, Tee, Jordan and Gareth, have been on great form over the past month,” says Michael Wakeham, Driver Hire’s area development manager. “They have a top ten position in our league table and turnover is 20% ahead of same time last year. They’ve also won ten new customers and brought six lapsed customers back on board.

“In addition, their success with Driver Certificate of Professional Competence training continues. Their dedicated training room has been kept very busy, as have their trainers, who’ve also stepped in to help other offices. This support for neighbouring offices is another hallmark of the way Jim and his team work. All in all, it’s great to see hard work and determination paying off, and hopefully there’s much more to come.”

The Birmingham team were presented with a certificate and magnum of champagne to celebrate their success. They’ve also collected points that they can spend on a wide range of prizes including activity days and consumer goods.

Commenting on their award, Jim Richards said: “My franchise is having another successful year and I’m delighted that our efforts have been recognised in this way. I’m sure it’s going to spur us on to even greater efforts during the coming year.”

Driver Hire is the UK’s largest specialist supplier of staff to the transport and logistics industry. It provides temporary and permanent drivers and other logistics staff to local and national organisations in both the public and private sector.
