Carl Reader, of British Franchise Association affiliate accountants d&t, was recently featured on Accountancy Age’s list of ‘35 under 35’ accountants, a list of inspiring young professionals excelling through their progress in the financial world.
Accountancy Age, one of the UK’s most widely-known financial magazines and winner of the 2010 ‘Digital Publisher of the Year’, promotes its young professionals campaign annually, showcasing some of the country’s top accounting talents. Other figures on the list included the likes of PwC, Ernst & Young and BDO employees as well as practitioners from media giants Sky and Twentieth Century Fox.
Carl was first recognised by Accountancy Age and Financial Director for his progression at d&t. Since moving to Swindon aged 22, he has not only helped develop the firm’s portfolio of franchise clients, but also widened the knowledge of the issues facing franchises through educational seminars and a variety of written articles.
Carl was delighted, saying: “Being recognised by Accountancy Age in their ‘35 under 35’ was a true honour, especially given the high regard that this publication has within the accountancy profession.”
