d&t Partners with Franchisors to Secure Franchisee Funding

June 19, 2019

Chartered accountants, business advisory and financial services organisation, d&t, has announced it is now working with several ‘big name’ franchisors to prepare the required documentation and develop bespoke processes necessary to source independent funding for new franchisees when they purchase a franchise. Driver Hire, Revive! and Countrywide Signs are just three house-hold names now able to offer the option of d&t’s independent funding sourcing service to franchisees joining their organisations in the future.

Dave Galvin QFP, managing director of d&t, confirms: “Earlier this year we officially launched our fully independent funding sourcing service to the franchise industry. Our team of experienced advisors capitalise on their strong relationships with all the main banks, satellite lenders and funding circles to secure the best deal possible for franchisees, franchisors and other SMEs looking to raise capital in order to expand

Galvin continues: “Since launch, the service has met with significant interest from franchisors looking to help their new and expanding franchisees ‘find the best deal’ available for the long-term health of their franchised businesses. We are delighted to welcome Driver Hire, Revive! and Countrywide Signs and their franchisees as potential clients and we very much look forward working with them in the future.”

Cathryn Hayes, franchise director at Revive! explains: “As a franchisor our role is to help our franchisees become as profitable as possible. Working with d&t means our new franchisees now have the option to access independent funding sourcing services so they can get the most advantageous rates on borrowing.  d&t’s team of experts are also able to provide financial advice and help with planning which some of our franchisees will also find of benefit when it comes to investment and growth.”

Galvin concludes: “Successfully securing and most importantly, getting a good deal on funding, depends on approaching the best lender and providing an appropriate business plan. With d&t this is all taken care of. This takes the headache out of raising finance and ensures franchisees can focus on the every-day task of building their businesses.”
