d&t win at the British Accountancy Awards 2013

Franchise accountancy practice d&t has celebrated another award win at the prestigious British Accountancy Awards 2013, triumphing over strong competition. The company was named Independent Firm of the Year – Wales & South West England at a ceremony on 20 November.

The evening attracted 500 guests from practices all over the UK, from top global to small local firms, showcasing the best and brightest in the industry. A total of 24 awards were presented by a judges panel consisting of several respected names in the profession.

Judges commented: “There’s no bull from Dennis & Turnbull. They show a modern approach to work, and are trying to understand clients better – what they want.”

Director Carl Reader, a passionate supporter of the franchise community, said: “When starting the practice I looked up to firms competing for the British Accountancy Awards [previously known as the Accountancy Age Awards].  It is a huge honour to now say that we have been selected as winners for our unique approach within the industry.

“Franchise accounting is an intrinsic part of the d&t brand and gaining such a prestigious award reinforces our commitment to all of our clients.”

The only bfa-accredited firm of accountants to be shortlisted for the finals, d&t provide tailored accountancy services for franchisors and franchisees through a team of more than 40 accountants and tax advisors and work with some 75 franchisors.
