Early-year boost for ERA as 40% of network growth annual target hits by February

ERA has welcomed a bumper crop of new franchisees to its network, with January proving to be anything but a post-Christmas hibernation for the specialist procurement franchise.

Six new faces have joined the non-territory defined network, representing 40% of the company’s 2013 target. They are: Rod Carillo; Craig Warhurst; Dominique Van Den Berg; Stuart Brown; Iain Wales; and Rob Seymour.

Such a large batch of new starters is unusual for the company, which normally adopts the slow and focused approach to recruiting high quality franchisees. Matt O’Neil, head of franchise recruitment for ERA, explained: “We typically limit the amount of new franchise partners on any one training course, however such was the quality and calibre of those who wanted to join in January 2013, that we just had to increase the capacity for the course.”

When asked if this means that ERA are looking to go beyond their agreed target of 15 new franchisees for this year, Matt commented: “Absolutely not!  Whilst there may be other franchisors that focus on recruiting as many new faces as possible, here at ERA we care about selecting the right individuals.”
